Inexpensive Strobe

After searching many internet archives for ideas and keeping my eyes open, I finally found a low cost strobe solution.

These strobes can be found at swap meets for about $5 each. They emit a nice yellow light pulse that can be seen from quite a distance. They don't have the annoying skull piercing brightness that most aviation strobes have. They are water proof and rugged. They have their own battery compartment which saves a lot of wiring. The aerodymanmic drag is minimal. They should only slow the plane down 15 or 20 miles an hour. This should help with the "hard to slow it down" problem that the RVs typically have.
