Easy online "N" number registration instructions Here is the easy way to reserve a tail number online: 1. Go to Landings.com databases and do an N-number reg search to see if your desired number is available, URL is: 2. Go to Landings.com databases and do an N-number RESERVATION search to see if your desired number is available, URL is: 3. Go to the Government Do It Yourself Page at: select the "Federal Aviation Administration" option and on the next page follow the "Aircraft Payments" option then follow directions to reserve and pay for your number online (costs $10) The whole process takes about ten minutes. In less than two weeks, I received a letter in the mail from the FAA confirming my number reservation.
Now I just have to build a plane to go with it! |
